How do i program a headset button into my NEC DTU-16D-2?

I got this new Job, we use NEC DTU-16D-2 Phones, i want to be the only cool guy with a headset. So how do i program one of the 16 buttons to use my headset. The head-set i have does work i've tested it in the same device, in the "handset" jack. Also the 1st person that leads me to the right information allowing the use of my headset i'll credit them 5USD via paypal minus papal's surcharge. Simply include ur paypal E-mail address in your answer and the funds will be wired upon me completing this task.
So i pressed "feature + 4" and it tells me: 14 = TEL 05 So from that i gathered i needed to be = TEL 01 So i plugged my phone into the 10 =TEL 01 jack. From there I pressed feature + hold + # + 0 + * then it displays at the top PROGRAMING MODE i then press LK2 it shows me 00/01:TNT-TRK1YS but none of this is changable

Okay, here goes. From a phone connected to jack 01 or 02 (ie ext 100,101) press Feat Hold #0*
That takes the phone offline.

Unless you plan on giving everybody a H SET key you need to go to 2-05 and set the mode to TEL instead of TNAT (tenant) mode. Then when you change the key on your phone it doesn't program all the phones. That's pdf page 494. On pdf page 594, you're looking at option 4-12. Pick a button you want to use. Now from your offline phone, press LK4 (line 4 on top row) and dial 12. Your extension should be square and translate to 100-115 will equal ports 01-16. You're going to carefully follow cursor movement, and assign HSET to a spare button. Use the * and # to advance the cursor left and right, and the number keys to choose your station. When you press LK 9-16, the buttons may be unassigned. You pick a button, and press LK11 to make it HSET and the display should tell you so, then press TRANSFER to write the data.
