How do you clean the plastic cover on a solar garden light?
The plastic cover on top of the solar light has become milky. How do you clean it and does it keep the batteries from charging?
Very carefully- don't get moisture near the battery connection. Remove the top, take a clean cotton cloth, spray vinegar on it & wipe both inside & outside of the cover. Use a Q-tip for smaller areas. There is usually a cover on the batteries or they'll be somewhat recessed so cover can be cleaned. It won't affect the charging. If they cease to charge, replace or recharge batteries after allowing it to dry out, opened.
