How can I record or monitor calls in asterisk (VoIP server,or elastix) and do not record silent duration?

I want to record my calls.The call have long duration.I don't want to record silent duration (nobody talk).What can I do?for example if silent duration continue for 30 sec the recording stop and when speech is start again ,recording start again(in new recording file or same file) ,notice that the call didn't disconnect;

Silent parts are deleted automatically from the recording file.
This has two advantages:
1) economy of disk space because the resulting file is smaller
2) easy and fast playback of the file because you do not need to skip silence parts manually when listening to a call recording.
This is used usually for recording trader calls, where one call may last 8-12 hours.
