How long would it take to install a network?
Its for my college work but after browsing online I haven't got a clue. I put in my assesment that it would take around 3-4 days but according to my tutor its wrong.
The network would be a tree network, on 2 floors, with shielded twisted pair cables and using DSL as the internet connection. (these are what I chose for my network)
I am meant to say how long it'll take to install and I am meant to draw up a plan, and then put it in a letter as a idea to a business.
Any help or places I could check out would be much appreciated.
2 to 3 weeks roughly, maybe longer it varies. That's including the planning, selecting hardware, formal presentation, acquiring the hardware, installing hardware and running all cables, configuring all devices and operating systems, and recording everything in a log.
