How do I properly wire a 110 punch down block?
I just thought of something. The existing 110 was likely intended for telephone. I want to still use a couple of those runs for telephone. ARe there 2 different configurations for telephone vs. ethernet?
I running cat5e for my home computer network. I'm adding another 110 punch down block. The existing one is wiring similar to this link (bottom of the page) http://cableorganizer.com/telecom-datacom/network-instructions.htm. Except The solid orange is before the stripped orange. Which is correct? The pages I've found on the internet show stripped before solid on all wires. Please help, thanks.
