Where is a good place to buy suits for work?
I don't need anything extremely high-end. This is for occasionally meeting with a client (usually don't need to wear a tie, just jacket). I shop at places like Banana and dept. stores like Macys usually, so something in those price ranges would be good. Are suits from Banana considered good quality?
Banana Republic is OK, I think they're overpriced though. The suits at Macy's, et al. should be avoided.
Try and find a Jos A. Banks, they are always running sales, and their higher lines are pretty good. Sierra Trading Post can net you some awesome deals if you're patient. TM Lewin is running their annual 50% off sale right now, which is worth a look. Hart Schaffner Marx is good too. Then of course, there's Brooks Brothers...
