"Cpu system fan is not working. System has been halted." I checked and all fans are working. What now?
My computer is an e-machine and all three fans are running properly. In other words they are cooling the system as required. Yet the computer still thinks its not working properly and may overheat. Is there another check I should be doing?
Looks like one of the fans sensors is not working properly. I get this sometimes (even with new fans), replacing it with another tends to solve the problem.
Some pc's will not even boot when it senses that a fan is not working (even when it is).
Bottom line; replace whichever fan is not being detected properly.
