How to configure these IP addresses?
My network from the phone line to PC is:
NETGEAR DM111Pv2 MODEM ----
NETGEAR FVG318 Firewall Router ------
NETSCREEN-100 Firewall -------
NETGEAR 16 Port Switch ------
To the PC.
The modem and router/pcs should be on a different subnet to the modem.
Modem IP is 192.168.1.1
Router IP is 192.168.0.1
And servers are IP 192.168.0.2,-3-4-5 etc
The problem is thew NETSCREEN IP is 192.168.1.1
This is the saame subnet as the modem and should be on the same subnet as the router/pc's.
Any help configuring the network so that the NETSCREEN FIREWALL is accessible from the webGui would be appreciated.
Thats the problem, i cant log into it to change it. I have got asnd read the manual but its not understandable. Bits missing in it.
Why not just change it's IP. There is an option to specify that IP it is using once you log into it.
