I am using Acer aspire series laptop and i find it difficult to get wifi signal...what should i do?
i have to go very near the router to get wifi signal.
i dont think its the internet provider because sometimes 3 of us in our room w/ diff laptop brand, they all have signal while i dont have...
from device manager check the network card properties many of them have a power setting make sure this is set to full power - if this already is set to its max, if the wifi card is internal its more than likely a problem with the aerial connections, you just need to be able to get to the wifi card and then just remove the connections and reseat them as the connection to the aerial cables can lose its efficiency, i've added a link with a few more things to try
