if your at the part where he kicked the generator in and dropped the guy in it then go into detective mode and follow the 3 lines in the floor back into the previous room and on the first or second floor in the room with the gargoyles there is a door where the power lines in the floor lead you to. beat a couple guys and shut off the power with the crypto sequencer. the switch is sabotaged and it takes a few more successful hacks to get through. after that go back to where the water is and crawl through the vents next to the big pile of rocks
