Replacing phone adapter?
I am trying to find a replacement power adapter for my RCA 25404RE3-A business phone. My dog chewed up the cord and I lost the transformer but I still have the cord and the plug that goes into the phone. I did some research and found that I need a 6V 300mA adapter. But the problem is I have no idea what the polarity is. There are two smaller wires in the cord (I'm assuming positive and negative) How can I be sure that I don't fry the phone when I solder the wires together and power it on? Also if someone could link me to an adapter on Radio Shack's website that would be great. Thanks!
