alpine mrp-m650 car amp problem! what part is this?
i recently bought a used alpine mrp-m650 car amplifier and it started to smoke and now it does not work. the light to the amp is on but it does not supply power to the subwoofers.
so i opened her up and this little "chip" looking thing seems to be burnt out, im sure if i buy a new part i could solder it back on.

i need to know what chip this is so i can get another one.

so what is the chip called that has blown and is it replaceable?
i really dont wanna buy a new amp 
I believe the chips look like voltage regulators or power transistors. You need to get the p/n off the chip.
It's unfortunate that some of the pics are out of focus. A macro close-up pic would be great or get a magnifying glass to read the numbers and letters that are printed on the parts. This way you can do a Google search with the part number and find out who sells it.

Also from the looks of what I saw you may have also burnt other components, and sometimes some parts may not look burnt or blown to be shot out. FYI.
