Where can I get files taken off a hard drive with a failed controller card?
I have a Western Digital caviar 80GB WD800JB-OOJJAO hard drive with a manufacture date of 10 SEP 2004. I need to find another one of these hard drives manufactured on that date so I can swap controller cards to get my files. Otherwise does anyone know how to recover a hard drive or where to take it?
the controller is part of the motherboard itself. You may have to install that hard drive on another computer or try another slot.
