How to print excel file with the group outline features included?

For very big and depth data, you can easily arrange it by using group & outline features. It is very convenient to use for sub assy. But once you print it, it will be a headache since no outline is printed, so I do not know which is sub or which is main. So how ti print this good features, group & outline? Thanks

I see what you mean. It's surprising, but I don't see any way to print that. Even if you set your Print settings to include row and column headings, it doesn't show the outline.

If you really wanted to print it, the only thing I can think of is to use Print Screen to get screen shots, and Paste them in your file, and crop them as needed.

If printing the outline is important to you, the Subtotals feature may give you what you want, since it also creates an outline. You can use Subtotals even if you don't have any values to get subtotals for. For example instead of the Sum function, your Subtotals can use the Count function to count the number of rows in each subsection.
