Upgrade for wireless card in Gateway M-1625?
I have a Gateway M-1625 and it's PCI-Express Mini Wireless Card is only compatible with Wireless B & G. I want to upgrade the internal card to work with Wireless-N, as I just bought a new router that uses Wireless-N. Of course, the Wireless-N Router is backwards compatible, but I want to use it to it's potential. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, can I pull the Gateway M-6000 Series mini express card (Marvell 802.11n (NL020881)) and use it in my computer?
I believe it should but the best thing to do it test it and try it out. You can also return it if it doesn't work out.
