What is the best way to sell my used xbox 360?
I would like to sell my used premium 20GB xbox 360. What method of selling will likely get me most money? eBay or by high street store? I have a lot of accessories as well which I think the high street chains might not accept such as wireless adaptors, play and charge kits and VGA cables.
Ebay, But put a bit of effort into it. Look at other 360's that have sold well, how were they advertised. When did they sell. What time of day, what day of the week, what time of the month.
Take some good pictures of it all laid out on a plain background. List all the games and cables, adaptors, controller's, even list the standard cables as a separate lines. List features, even just the standard ones like the HD size. Against each extra and the standard item list the original price if purchased new when not on sale. e.g. If you have a game that you purchased second hand for £5, still list it as £39 rrp. Do this for all the games and Accessories and the box itself, and then the total it up.
Have a good add line like
XBOX 360 + accessories worth £1000
Now most important of all. Make sure your auction ends on Saturday evening. (Start a 7 day aution at the time you want it to end)
If possible at the very end or the beginning of the month (just after payday).
Start it at a low price, no reserve, if you stick to above there is little risk you will not get a reasonable price and a good chance of getting a good price.
