What Processor Should I buy?
Should I buy an Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor or a AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 140W Quad-Core Processor or Intel Xeon E3110 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor any other processor suggestions are welcome too.
Processor budget only is about 500 dollars but id like to get more than 1
dont listen to nick above lol he is a intel fan boy. the xeon is a server chip so that a deferent no. the rest are good chips the i7 is soppose to be the fastest but im not shore as i run one myself and i have amd phemon 955 i think the phemon is better for gaming than the intel quad. i think if you dont want to spend too much i would have to go with the amd phemon as it is cheap and it performs just as well as the i7. plus the motherboard and ram are cheaper too and just for the cherry ontop of the cake the phemon can use drr2 and drr3 ram.
