extension socket into extension socket?
Can I add an extension socket (4 sockets) into another extension socket? I'd plug a mix of lamps, small tv, dvd player.
The extension socket should be fitted with a 13amp fuse to limit the current to 13amps and so the socket you are plugging it in to, the fuses are there to stop the cable from catching fire, so you can draw up to 13amp across all of the sockets spurred from the wall socket. A 100w bulb in a lamp would draw approx .4 amp and so on now work out the load and if you are under 13amp then you are ok although it is not recommended you should be safe , I myself have 2x10 socket extensions running from a 4 socket extension, 3pc's 1power Mac monitor,kvm phone chargers ... you name it , but I will not be adding the electric fire or kettle
