Setting up pod cast studio on Mac, can't get audio to work?
Have Cad GXL 2200 mike, Behringer FCA202 Firewire interface and Behringer Eurorack UB802 mixer, Looking for the exact set-up to make this baby work. I set up drivers and both Mac and PC, can't get audio, the mike is brand new, everything is new. I am wondering now if there are some compatibility issues with the mike and interface. The Cad Mike is not self powered. You help is appreciated.
You answered the Question! the mic is not compatible with your interface unless the interface or the Mixer provides (48Vdc Fantom Power) u need a power cable and a source to plug it into. Also i would not have tied up one of my FW ports with an interface unless doing Music. Plenty of USB solutions for Podcasting(i'm using m-audio podcast factory)
