i want to buy a wireless router and ive chosen the dlink extreme n gigabit router for gaming and house internet usage. i was planing on getting the usb n stick for the laptop. for the usb n stick [more specific d link dwa 140 wireless n usb stick or xtreme n dual band wireless 2.0 usb stick] what is the difference between draft n and regular 2.5 or 5 ghz signals. also i was wondering if i can use those usb sticks on my xbox 360 to get connection instead of buying the xbox network adapter at 100 dollars [totally not worth it for that price] but thank you very much for all the answers. plz feel free to give suggestions on better wireless routers if any at all

Draft n is a version of wireless networking also written 802.11n. The draft n technology operates at either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. Same kind of concept as cordless phones operating at different frequencies. With the 5Ghz technology you "should" see a higher throughput.The draft n technology is just the newest fastest type of wireless networking. As for the xbox 360 question every thing I read said No, only the microsoft wireless adapter will work. What I would suggest is if possible put the router close to the xbox and just go wired.
