How do I fix this problem regarding my USB device exceeding the hub port ?
So sometimes it's find when I`m on the computer, and all of a sudden my computer makes this beeping noise, then the USB port thing pops up saying that a USB device has exceeded the hub port. It says I can click for assistance, however the problem is when this occurs, my keyboard and mouse completely becomes disabled.
I tried to unplug and replug both, but it doesn't work .
Any help is appreciated. Thanks !
it sounds like you are trying to power too many devices directly from your computer, what you probably need is a powered hub available at most retailers who deal with computers (stay away from walmart) hope this helps
