Painting just a section of a car panel.??
Hi Guys. Can anyone give me any tips on how to seamlessly paint just a section of a car panel that was rusted out. I've done a very smooth body filler fix, and I can't even tell when the filler meets metal..it just needs to be primed and then painted.
In the past, I know that I have taped off an area to be painted, but using tape, there are very noticeable TAPE LINES...How can I paint just a section of the panel, without having tape lines or any indication that it was fixed???
feathering it in can b done but u need skill...a good painter rcan match and paint it better then u....but if u try the worst u can do is have to go to pro.... practice on junkyark hood or fender....go ask...often they will give one 4 free if u ask nice...
