My motherboard works only when it's OUTSIDE of the chassis/case, why is this?
It's a power issue I thought... And I still think so, but it works just fine outside the chassis,
but when it's inside, it doesn't. It turns on, but shows weird numbers and eventually shuts down. (or stays on, but doesn't work) any help would be appreciated.
Also, check for any short circuiting. If it's working correctly outside of the case, then you may have some sort of contact with the metal of the case or a frayed wire that is touching the circuit board.
