Will i still lag in console online games if i use a wired connection?
I have a fibre optic network with 100mbps down and 50mbps up
my ps3 and my mac is currently on the 3rd floor and my fibre network is on the first floor.
i am connected through the aztech wireless extender home adapter which i place on the 3rd floor and when i check the speed of my connection through speedtest.net, i only get abt 10mbps down and 12 mbps up.
i am finding the cause of my problem and i'm thinking to place my ps3 on the first floor for a wired connection.
Lag will be less if you are directly wired into the router.
